OptimumCare Home Care Services provides clients with a wide range of non-medical services designed to meet your needs. Whether you need help getting to and from medical appointments, to the grocery store, paying bills, or even visiting friends, our staff is more than happy to get you there.
We understand the difficulty some people have accessing transportation, but making your doctor, dental, and other medical importance are important to your health. Access to groceries and fresh produce encourages and optimizes a nutritious and healthy diet. The ability to get out and visit with friends, local groups, and engage in community-centered events is important for the emotional and mental well-being of our elders or the homebound.
Staff at OptimumCare Home Care Services provides licensed drivers with safe vehicles for the transportation of you or a loved one to all your appointments or errands, or we can drive your own car. Our staff members have clean driving records and carry verifiable car insurance.
Our nonmedical services don’t stop with transportation. We also provide a number of other services with our professional, trained, and certified staff. Such services include but are not limited to:
- Help with activities of daily living (eating, bathing, toileting, dressing)
- Transfers (from bed to wheelchair, from wheelchair to living room recliner, etc.)
- Continence care (we can help with catheters, ostomies or provide cueing or physical support for those dealing with dementia)
- Grocery shopping, meal preparation, serving, and cleanup
- Light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, laundry, etc.)
A little help goes a long way, and we at OptimumCare Home Care Services know that you or a loved one may not need help with all of the care scenarios listed above. However, help with even one or two of them can greatly enhance your or loved one’s ability to enjoy life. We understand the importance of companionship and dialogue to help keep the mind alert.
Our staff and caregivers are also able to help our clients engage in some of their favorite activities or hobbies, including baking, gardening, and even painting and woodworking. Interaction and mental stimulation is important for well-rounded care.
